Not only is Exeter a beautiful place to live, but it's also such a great learning environment. I find it really easy to talk to my lecturers about the course content or even just things that interest me and the University is constantly improving facilities to supplement our learning. There is so much support available to aid your studies and future career as well as your general wellbeing. I feel like, when I leave, I will be well-rounded and ready for what the world has to throw at me.
Studying Materials Engineering
My decision to study on Penryn Campus and adjust to life in Cornwall was a huge leap of faith. A year down the line and many smiles and laughs later, I couldn't be happier with my choice. At Penryn Campus, you don't make friends, you make family. My favourite aspect about studying here has to be the people. The size of Penryn Campus means that you belong to a closely-knit community. You get to benefit from the extremely high quality of education the University of Exeter has to offer whilst forming long-term friendships along the way.

Studying Mining Engineering
The course, the campus and the added value my degree programme offered made Exeter a no-brainer for me. In the past two years, I have worked for my department through their Peer2Peer and summer school programmes and have now secured two internships through their connections. It's a huge privilege to be taught by leaders and innovators in their respective fields. My lectures and seminars are well-organised and well-taught, with the availability of extra contact time through weekly office hours giving an additional level of academic support.
