Why did you pick Exeter?

The rank of the University, great professors and the infrastructure are all great.

Describe your typical day

Wake up, go walking to the university lab, have lunch with friends on campus, during the afternoon I'll grab some coffee with colleagues and/or participate in events on campus (seminars, talks, workshops, etc.)

What are the best aspects of studying in your department?

Qualified staff, awesome infrastructure, and a friendly environment.

How would you describe the vibe on campus?

Excellent. Friendly people, beautiful campus and plenty of activities to do. 

What activities do you take part in?

Hiking, running and sometimes dancing and meditating.

What particular skills are you gaining from your time in Exeter?

Due to my experience in Exeter, I have been improving my research, problem-solving and communications skills. In addition, I am exploring some hobbies such as cooking, running and doing outdoor exercises.

How have you dealt with any difficulties?

I did not have any major issues. I have the support of friends and the University which made the adaptation process fast and easy.

Was there anything about your experiences at Exeter that surprised you?

The reception was much better than I expected and the whole process was simple. The community is also very nice and friendly.

What advice would you give students planning on coming to the University of Exeter?

Do some research about the city, the University, the culture and the course. Try to contact people from the University before coming to ask questions.
