Why did you decide that Exeter was the best place to study your particular subject?

I chose Exeter as it is a student friendly city and offers support in many areas including wellbeing, study and career opportunities. The University of Exeter also has high accreditation in the engineering field.

Describe your typical day at Exeter

I study four modules in total, with an average of 2 to 3 lectures each day. During breaks I usually go to the Library to review my lecture. I go to the gym each week to stay healthier and help the church on Sundays.

What are the best aspects of studying within your department?

There are plenty of group assignments that help improve team working skills.

How would you describe the vibe on campus?

Relaxed, but very busy during exam weeks.

What activities are you taking part in? Which facilities/activities do you enjoy the most?

I am in the Indonesian Society and Indonesian Student Association and enjoy socialising with these groups.

What particular skills are you gaining from this experience, will this help you in your choice of career?

Communication, problem solving, interpersonal and 3D modelling skills.

What’s the best thing about living in Exeter?

It is a small city, so everything is in walking distance and the people here are nice and friendly.

Would you recommend Exeter to your friends?

Yes! I grew in so many different ways in my studies.

What advice would you give students planning on coming to the University of Exeter?

Plan your day well. Take part in societies and don't be afraid to socialise with people from other countries.

Has the University been supportive during your time here?

Yep, in terms of career and wellbeing.
