About the Programme
This exciting month long Global Leaders programme is run by The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), an Institute established in 1965 as an autonomous body within the United Nations with the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of the work of the UN and its Member States.
The course runs entirely on UNITAR´s virtual e-Learning platform and learning material is provided through the interactive software Articulate Storyline.
Through a mix of E-Learning modules, virtual tours, discussion boards, live-webinars with experts and UNITAR staff and E-Workshops this programme will cover varied and diverse topics such as Negotiation Skills and Techniques, Diplomatic Communication Skills, Enhancing Creativity and Leadership in Crisis.
When will it take place?
This programme starts on the 15th of February and running until the 12th of March. You must be able to participate in the full month of the programme.
The first week of the programme will contain 2.5 hours of reading material and 6.5 hours of live-components, whereas the second, third and fourth week have 2.5 hours reading material and 3 hours live components per week. The live components can be watched according to your own schedule.
Eligibility Criteria - please ensure you meet all of the below before submitting an application
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate at the University of Exeter or you graduate in 2021
- Have a good academic record of achievement
- Be able to undertake all time commitments for the programme dates
There is no programme fee for succesful applicants to this programme.
