About the award

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Up to 50 scholarships are awarded to cover one-year or two-year periods of postgraduate study, either taught or research.

Candidates do not need to have applied for or been accepted at a British university before applying for a
Marshall Scholarship but will be invited to indicate two preferred universities.  In due course, the University of Exeter would be pleased to receive your programme application for 2020 entry.
