Glanely Vacation Scholarship

The Scholarship

One vacation Scholarship is awarded to enable a student to undertake a study project within the field of agricultural economics or farm management.  Applications are most likely from students who have finished their final year and who would then undertake a guided project of about six to eight weeks, receiving approximately £200 per week in funding.

Eligibility

This Scholarship is shared with Seal-Hayne Faculty. Applicants from the Seale-Hayne Faculty should normally be about to embark on either the third or fourth year of the BSc Agriculture course, or intending to proceed to either the Diploma in Farm Management or the Diploma in Management studies.  Applications from University of Exeter are most likely from students who have finished their final year and who would then undertake a guided project of about six to eight weeks.

Applicants should give clear and complete details of the study or programme of work to be undertaken, indicating objectives, method of study to be adopted and relevance of work. Full details of any estimated research expenses must be submitted.  A written reference will be required from a tutor/lecturer who is aware of the applicant's chosen project.
