Participation in the Showcase counts towards the Exeter Award, in particular on the Research Pathway.

How to get involved

Entries to the Showcase can be made using our online forms in MyCareerZone. You can enter your research as both an abstract and a poster, but will have to complete each form. You can also enter more than one piece of research:

Abstract Submissions
Now open for 2020

Poster Submissions
Now open for 2020

*If you are unable to use the form, please email your work in to us at UGresearch@exeter.ac.uk

All entries will be displayed in the Forum Street and Compass Exchange on 20th-24th January 2020. You will be invited you to launch each exhibition with us at a reception on Monday 20th January. This is a great opportunity to network and talk with other attendees about your work on display.

A judging panel will select the winning entries in each category, which will be awarded funded places at Posters in Parliament or BCUR 2020. Highly commended entries will also be awarded prizes by the judging panel, which will include Amazon vouchers and partly subsidised places at BCUR.

Entries will be judged on a range of criteria including accuracy, originality, clear communication of research findings or argument presented, and accessibility to a wide audience. Posters will also be judged on creativity and visual aesthetic. We welcome work from all degree programmes, so no matter what your research or argument centres on, we would love to celebrate your work.
