Student volunteering opportunities
There are lots of opportunities to get involved with practical sustainability in the Devon area. By volunteering, you have an opportunity to:
- gain new practical skills
- work in the beautiful Devon countryside
- make a positive contribution to Devon’s wildlife habitats
- meet new people and develop your regional networks
- build your CV
- fulfil the volunteering element of the Exeter Award/Leaders Award

| Book-Cycle | Book-Cycle is a UK based charity which seeks to empower communities in developing countries through the provision of free books. We support Book-Cycle locally at the University and have lots of opportunities to work with our Book-Cycle champion to help deliver and further develop the scheme. | Contact Sue Addo |
| University of Exeter | Green auditing - students volunteer to visit Green Impact teams and check that they have fulfilled all the necessary criteria to receive their award. Auditors will work in teams of two. | Contact the Sustainability Team |

| A1 Positive Recycling | There are various jobs to do, some within the warehouse, some outside marketing surveys, some that can be done from your very own home. Collections coordinator and distributing to clients in the local area, DTP designing new flyers and marketing material for new clients and events, the organisation and publicity of new events, packing and sending boxes to our partner charities, creating new designs on our website as part of the web site team, helping sort equipment at our warehouse, keeping the warehouse in a relative state of tidiness, re-stocking and alphabetising the collected equipment etc | admin@a1positiverecyclingproject.org 01392 202779 |
