Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths (STEAM) Days

Year group - Year 9-10
Dates - June 2020

These unique events explore the overlap in two very different subject areas – Science and Humanities. STEAM Day (Climate Emergency)

9th June 2020, 10-3.30pm, University of Exeter Streatham Campus

In 2019 the University of Exeter declared an environment and climate emergency. The University is at the forefront of environment and climate change research to ensure substantive action based on evidence and science.

This year’s STEAM day will focus on this global issue and enable pupils to explore the societal challenges, and environmental impacts and implications associated with the global climate emergency.

Pupils will have the opportunity to hear from a range of experts and world-leading academics and develop their own ideas through group work activities throughout the day.

This day is aimed at Year 10- 12 students to encourage them to consider important issues from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
