University of Exeter Study Buddies

Our University of Exeter Student Study Buddies programme is designed to help students develop their subject knowledge, practise their exam technique, and show them the exciting realities beyond their classroom learning.

Throughout the school year, our Study Buddies will run a series of approximately six 1 hour sessions focused on developing specific topic knowledge and revision strategies, as well as giving students a chance to ask questions about course material, study, and Higher Education.

Each session is focused on an individualised topic set by teacher leads, based in school curriculum, with Study Buddies activities bringing ‘real world’ applications of classroom material to the fore.

The dates and timings of each visit are determined by the teaching lead, and lesson plans are developed collaboratively.

Study Buddies can currently be booked to support the following subject areas -

Please note that due to limited resource we will only be able to offer the Study Buddies in schools who fulfil certain eligibility criteria, to include being part of the Exeter Links partnership, or to students who meet an individual eligibility criteria. If you are interested in taking part then we would entourage you to get in touch to find out more about this point.
