We are a small, friendly department where students and staff have plenty of opportunity to mix and get to know each other. Many students take part in our active Archaeology Society which organises archaeology field trips, tours, employability and social events. It's a good way of getting to know your fellow students while adding an extra dimension to your degree.
Archaeology is based in the Laver Building on the Streatham Campus, which is widely recognised as one of the most beautiful university campuses in the UK. You can take a closer look at the campus by taking the virtual tours found in the Visiting Us section of the main University website.

University life and student support
You can find out more about what life is like for students on the Streatham campus and what support is available for you on the student life pages, which includes student profiles and films, to give a flavour of life on campus and in Exeter.
