The Debating Scholarship £1,500 Thu 31st Aug 2017 Offered jointly by the English Speaking Union and the University to students interested in debating topical political, economic, environmental and social issues in a public forum, who meet designated household income requirements and are in receipt of means tested financial support from the University.
INTO Dean's Award 1,500 There is no application for this award. You will be automatically considered. The College of Life and Environmental Sciences is pleased to team up with INTO to offer two awards of £1,500 apiece to highly achieving INTO graduates applying to CLES undergraduate programmes.
Sports Scholarship and High Performance Programme up to £3000 plus additional support services & coaching Deadline passed

Sports scholarships are awarded to students of outstanding sporting ability who show evidence of achievement at international level in their chosen sport. We also encourage applications from students who have achieved at national or regional level for consideration onto our High Performance Programme.
International Undergraduate Distinction Scholarship £5,000 Deadline passed

The International Undergraduate Distinction Scholarship is available to international students interested in any undergraduate programme within the College of Life and Environmental Sciences. The award is £5,000 payable as a reduction on tuition fees for the first year of study.
International Summer School High Achieving Student Award 500 There is no application for this award. You will be automatically considered. An opportunity for international students with a GPA equivalent of 3.5 and above to receive scholarship funding towards a course of their choice during the International Summer School
de Freitas Biosciences Travel Bursary £500 Deadline passed

The de Freitas Biosciences Travel Bursary provides two students with £500 apiece to defray costs associated with the unsubsidised final-year Biosciences field courses. The fund is provided by a generous philanthropic donation from Roger de Freitas and is available to all students who have completed their module selection for their final year.
The Sara and Nigel Tozzi Scholarship £6,000 Deadline passed

A scholarship of £6,000 per year for a top performing student who can demonstrate involvement in voluntary or entrepreneurial activities and who is without independent means or other sources of funding (other than a student loan).
Tony Allen Scholarship £1,500 Deadline passed

A scholarship of £1,500 per year for top performing students who live in one of the South Hams, Teignbridge or Torbay areas of Devon.
NERC GW4+ DTP PhD studentship: Marine connectivity in sea fans: implications for conservation and the designation of marine protected areas £14,553 Deadline passed

Applications are now being accepted for 3 fully-funded studentships on projects that cover the breadth of earth and environmental sciences commencing September 2017. Studentships will provide funding for stipend and fees (currently £14,553 and £4,195 per annum respectively) a Research and Training Support Grant of £11,000 and a training budget of £4,000 for 42 months (3.5 years). All projects will be CASE projects with input into project development from key end-user communities.
