Opportunities to visit the University
Pre-application open days
Many parents choose to accompany students when they visit universities. The UK Student Recruitment Office organises pre-application Open Days where you will get the chance to look around the campus, view student accommodation, and meet academic staff and students.
Campus tours
If the dates of our planned Open Days are not convenient for you, we can organise for current students to show you round the University on our regular Campus Tours. Please be aware that Campus Tours do not include visits to departments or meetings with academic staff. If you are coming on a Campus Tour, you are welcome to contact the relevant department to ask if anyone will be available to meet you before or after the tour, but please be aware that they may well be too busy teaching current students.
Post offer open days
If your son or daughter has applied and received an offer from Exeter, the Academic School they have applied to will also issue an invitation to a departmental Open Day, to help them make up their mind about whether they wish to accept the offer of a place at Exeter. They are not obliged to accept this invitation, but it may help them in coming to a final decision about which university offers they want to accept as first and insurance choices.
