Activities for schools and colleges
We can deliver a wide range of activities both on-campus or in schools and colleges. These activities can be offered to a range of year groups with specific focus on years 10 to 13.
The themes of these activities include:
- Why Higher Education?
- Finance and Budgeting
- Choosing a Course & Institution
- Applying to Higher Education and Personal Statements
- Student Life
- Study Skills & Extended Project support
We can also support school and college Higher Education Fairs, Careers Fairs, and parent evenings.
Delivery of these activities is often assisted by a team of trained Exeter Student Ambassadors, who act as tutors and role-models. Student Ambassadors can provide insights into what being a university student entails, in terms of academic work, budgeting, and extra-curricular opportunities. Please visit our Student Ambassador website for profiles of some of our Student Ambassadors.
We try to support as many requests from schools and colleges as possible; however, unfortunately, due to limits on our time and resources, this isn’t always possible. In these circumstances, we are happy to share our resources with teachers and advisers, in order that you can deliver activities in your own schools.
If you are interested in finding out more about any of these events please contact us.
