The wet chemistry labs are used by postgraduate and undergraduate students. Rocks and soils are dissolved so they can be chemically analysed by atomic absorption or colourmetric techniques. Water samples are also prepared here for analysis. Investigations may include the determination of nutrients and/or pollutants in soils and water.
