This is the reception area of the Institute for Arab and Islamic Studies, one of the UK’s main centres for teaching and research in Arabic, Middle Eastern and Islamic history and culture. This striking modern building has state-of-the-art teaching and study facilities, a café, spacious common rooms and extensive gallery/exhibition space. It is also home to the Arab World Documentation Unit.
