Shiatsu bodywork with holistic health and nutrition assessments
I am in the final year of a 3-year training course with the Devon School of Shiatsu. My treatments at the Wellbeing Centre are part of my supervised work placement and are free of charge. During my training I have given over 300 treatments. I have been a holistic health practitioner since 2006 and am fully insured.
Shiatsu is a form of bodywork based on Eastern health principles in which a range of gentle hands-on techniques are used to encourage the even circulation of blood flow, lymph, oxygen and qi (also spelled ‘ki’, ‘chi’ or 'qis'), in simple terms, means the ‘energy’ that animates us and keeps all of these vital substances moving.
Holistic health and nutrition assessments consider your health in connection with all that affects it – your work, interests, environment, climate, daily and seasonal cycles, and life experiences – and identify the most helpful foods for you given your natural constitution and current health condition and needs.
