See the Guide to completing the application for more information about the CRB application

CRB checks

If you will be working with children or vulnerable adults, your appointment is subject to the University receiving satisfactory disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau. Please note that having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the offence and the relevance of the offence in relation to the position applied for.

You will receive an application pack with your contract letter.  You should complete the CRB application form as well as the self disclosure form. The two forms, proof of address and identity documentation (ideally a passport) should be returned to your HR Business Partner, Human Resources, Northcote House.  For information on how to complete the application form and identity verification, please visit the online Guide

You will not be allowed to begin working with children or vulnerable adults until the University receives the CRB disclosure, so please arrange to do this on or before your first day of work.
