Alison Reed is a Chartered Accountant. Alison has extensive business knowledge and experience from her previous senior business roles at Marks and Spencer plc, including as Chief Financial Officer of Marks & Spencer Group plc and at Standard Life Assurance Company and Standard Life plc where as Chief Financial Officer she led the successful listing of the Mutual Assurance Company on the London Stock Exchange. Alison is a Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chairman of British Airways plc, a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee and of the Risk Committee of NewDay Ltd, one of the UK's leading speciality finance companies and a Non Executive Director and member of the Audit Committee of CGI inc, one of the world's largest IT and business consulting firms listed on the Toronto and New York Stock exchanges. Alison was previously a Non-Executive Director at Darty plc, a multi-national electrical retailing company headquartered in Paris and at HSBC Bank plc.
