(SSA)

The SSA is a group of >26 University of Exeter societies that are working with the University Environment and Climate Emergency Team to respond to the global climate emergency. Whichever society you decide to get involved in, the SSA is open to all.

Bee Society Students' Union Dedicated to raising awareness amongst both students and the local community on issues concerning our pollinators. 
Be The Change Students' Guild A society campaigning for sustainability in Exeter, both on and off campus.
Beach Clean Project Students' Union We run regular beach cleans and events aiming to spread awareness about the causes and solutions of ocean pollution.
Eco Society Students' Union Aims to give everyone the opportunity to learn about nature, experience Cornish wildlife, gain skills in ecology and conservation, help local projects and raise the profile of wildlife to everyone. 
Enactus Students' Union

Society that uses the power of entrepreneurial lives to create a better, more sustainable future by creating projects that tackle global issues such as poverty and waste. 

Exeter Fashion Society Students' Guild

Exeter Fashion Society is committed to raising awareness surrounding ethical fashion. It is important for us to highlight the importance of reducing our carbon footprint, be it through consuming mindfully or upcycling what we have. 

Green Living Society Students' Union This society is for Nature Lovers, Green Activists, Foraging Fanatics and all kinds of Gardeners. No experience required and lots of fun to be had.
Out-of-Doors Students' Guild Society for those interested in exploring the countryside of the South West.
Renewable Energy Society Students' Union For students who have an interest in green technologies and sustainability.
Slow Food on Campus Students' Guild Part of the Slow Food campaign - committed to encouraging the use of locally produced food and teaching about how food waste can be prevented, or at least reduced. 
Students for Global Health Society Students' Guild Students for Global Health is a registered charity and national network working to tackle global and local health inequalities through education, advocacy and action. 
WaterAid Students' Guild Supporting the WaterAid organisation through fundraising and increasing awareness.
