The University met and surpassed goals set by the Fairtrade Policy, achieving the renewal of its Fairtrade University status. This recognises the University’s commitment to the Fairtrade movement which is demonstrated by the wide range of Fairtrade products in use and for sale on campus. As part of this process the Fairtrade policy was reviewed and updated and re-classified until May 2018.
The University of Exeter has achieved a two star accreditation in the Sustainable Restaurant Association SRA scheme, ahead of its 2020 target.
