Rowancroft key facts

Rowancroft consists of en-suite flats arranged within four smart, contemporary houses - Francis, Radford, Davies and Garden - along with studios located within a separate block. The residence is in enclosed landscaped grounds, near the local shops of Heavitree, with buses into the city centre, Streatham Campus and beyond. Rowancroft is a short walk from both St Luke's campus and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

Due to demand, this residence is predominantly allocated to students studying in colleges based on St Luke's campus.

En-suite rooms

Available to undergraduate students, each flat of five to eight residents has en-suite rooms (187 in total) and a well-equipped kitchen.

For students joining the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) programme we will be offering a 43 week contract starting Sunday 10 September 2023, in line with the extended programme length for the 2023-24 academic year. BMBS students are encouraged to view our dedicated BMBS Programme webpage for further information about their accommodation options.

For students joining the MSci Nursing programme we offer a 48 week contract in line with the extended programme. MSci Nursing students are encouraged to view our dedicated MSci Nursing Programme webpage for further information about their accommodation options.

BMBS and MSci Nursing students are likely to be allocated to blocks with students who are studying the same course due to the contract length requirements of their course.

Studio rooms

There are 32 single-occupancy studios which are mainly let to postgraduate students. They have an open-plan living space which includes a workspace, en-suite shower and small kitchenette/diner.
