Giving Day takes place midday 22 to midday 23 September 2020

Exeter gears up for first ever Giving Day!

The University of Exeter is launching its first ever Giving Day on 22 September, 65 years since the institution was granted its Royal Charter by Her Majesty the Queen.

Giving Day is a 24-hour online event dedicated to raising money for students and research across the University of Exeter.

From midday 22 to midday 23 September, supporters can donate to crucial research in the areas of health and the environment, student societies, sports clubs and bursaries. Thanks to alumni match funding donations during the event will often be worth double!

2020 was chosen for this event because it marks 65 years since Her Majesty the Queen visited Exeter to present the Royal Charter. A lot has happened in 65 years, but there is always much more to be achieved.

Alumni and supporters can also get involved on the day by spreading the word or becoming an Ambassador.
