Supporting Masters students from China

The HT Foundation Master Scholarship helps talented Chinese students to study at Exeter.

The HT Foundation Master Scholarship is funded by alumnus Norman Ho (Economics 1976), through the Ho Tim Foundation. It aims to support the most deserving candidates from China to undertake Masters level study at the University of Exeter, in a range of courses including: Masters by Research Biological Sciences, MSc Water Management and MSc Food Security.

Norman’s support to Exeter builds on a strong tradition of educational philanthropy in his family running back through several generations. His Foundation has previously supported universities in the UK: including Oxford and Cambridge, as well as universities in the US, Hong Kong and mainland China and has provided scholarships for many students from China through this process.

“Supporting education and ensuring academically talented students have access to graduate study at great universities is incredibly important. It is a privilege to be able to contribute to this process and particularly by supporting my own alma mater, the University of Exeter”.
