1. What has been the highlight of your time at Exeter?

The last few years have been phenomenal and I have enjoyed day-to-day life so much, so it is difficult to choose a highlight. I have had some of the best weeks of my life whilst at Exeter, such as the university ski trip and the Geography Field Trip to Brazil that was an incredible part of my degree.

2. What will you miss the most about University?

I will mostly miss being constantly surrounded by my friends and living with everybody in the same city. I have also really enjoyed my course and will miss learning about what I am interested in and passionate about in Geography.

3. What did you enjoy about your particular programme?

I am incredibly grateful to have had such lovely and engaging lecturers, who are so passionate about their subject and dedicated to sharing their enthusiasm with their students. Geography is also very sociable, and I feel extremely lucky to have formed such strong friendships for life with other students on the course who have all supported each other throughout the programme. The Geography Field Trip to Brazil stands out as not only a highlight of my course, but also as a highlight of my entire time at Exeter. The trip was an unforgettable and amazing experience that brought students closer together and enabled us to further build a good rapport with our lecturers.

4. What advice would you give to current and future students?

Enjoy yourselves and make the most of your time living in Exeter and everything it has to offer. Try not to stress too much over work because it always gets done in the end!

5. What are your plans now that you have graduated?

This autumn I will be going to Manaus, Brazil, to collect data for a research project and future publication. I have made no further plans as I am unsure of what I would like to do next, but I hope to work, travel and do a masters in the near future. I’m happy to see where the wind takes me for now!
