Leave a legacy for future Exeter students.

Time to remember Exeter?

This week (9-15 September) is Remember a Charity Week in the UK, when people are encouraged to think about leaving a gift in their Will to charity.

Exeter is a registered charity and many alumni have already remembered the University in their Will. Increasingly, we also hear from our local community who recognise the value of the University for the region’s future generations.

Graduates often remember their own time at Exeter when drawing up their Will and through their legacies they are contributing to the student experience of future generations.

A gift, no matter what size, can also support the University’s research tackling some of the current challenges facing humankind including health, hunger and climate change.

A gift without specific restrictions will help to grow the University’s new endowment – the ‘Exeter Forever Fund’. This permanent endowment, unrestricted in nature is aligned to the University’s strategic priorities and areas of greatest need.

Leaving a gift is surprisingly easy and is usually tax free. You can find out more information in our Goodwill Guide available from Clare Pearce c.l.pearce@exeter.ac.uk, tel +44 (0)1392 722235 or see www.exeter.ac.uk/legacy
