Michelmores hosts high-tech startups from Exeter and Bristol
Michelmores Technology and Innovation Unit has been helping leading university business incubator, SETsquared, to showcase some of the most promising upcoming tech startups from Exeter and Bristol.
SETsquared, the enterprise partnership between the universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey, brought six of its most disruptive and cutting-edge technology startups to Michelmores in Exeter yesterday (18 October) to pitch to a select audience of investors and mentors.
The pitching event saw startups who are developing technologies for industries ranging from clean energy building solutions, an app using AI to personalize travel experience and a marketplace for high quality independent food retailers and producers, delivering five-minute presentations. The audience, including Michelmores staff from Exeter and London offices, provided feedback and guidance to the entrepreneurs, helping them on the road to investment success.
