Graduate helps to expand market
Toolstream created a product database with the help of a University of Exeter marketing graduate.
The hand power tools company had recently experienced a rapid growth in sales and needed some help to capitalise on their growing market.
MSc Marketing graduate, Ben Dee Shapland, produced process mapping reports which resulted in a new product database project to make their current system more efficient.
Ben also compiled reports from Amazon which helped to ensure Toolstream can supply the online retailer with the relevant products and information to produce more sales.
Daniel Morris, Managing Director of Toolstream, said: "The analysis carried out by Ben during his placement has been very useful in moving our product database project forward and the launching our revised catalogue.
"I have been impressed Ben’s attention to detail and his genuine interest in providing answers to important questions within the business.
"We were of course delighted when Ben accepted our offer of a permanent role at the end of his placement.
