SEOTY 2020

SEOTY AWARDS

SEOTY

The philosophy of the Student Employee Of The Year (SEOTY) competition is to recognise student employees who combine study with part-time or temporary work.

Annually employers can nominate students who take on part time work alongside their studies. We are enormously grateful for nominations for students, this promotion can really stand out on a CV and we announce the overall student and employer winners in May.

This competition is not applicable for those working on placements, on Summer internships or as volunteers

2020 Nominations are currently open

Nominations are open until the 31st April

Every student nominated gets a FREE £5 to spend in the guild.

Every organisation who nominates a student saves 20% off the cost of attending our next Fair in October.  They also enter our employer wall of fame.

All nominees and nominators will be invited to our award ceremony in May where we announce the overall winning student and their employer.

I have a huge respect for all students who work alongside their degree. Your university years can be very busy, full of degree, socialising with friends all on top of looking after yourself. To those who have a job as well as all this is something to be really proud of. Many congratulations to those who have been shortlisted, it’s so exciting to be rewarded for all the hard work you have put in- well done!
