Structure of day
Create your Future runs on a different day for each discipline. Take a look at your iExeter timetable to find out when it is running for you. The day runs from 09:30-16:30, and it is expected that all students attend the whole of the day.
The day is made up of three live workshops, and online content that you work through during the day between the live workshops.
The timings of the day are:
09:30-10:15 – Workshop 1: Introduction
10:15-12:30 – Work through the Online Activities Part 1: Introduction, Discover more about yourself and Explore your Career Options.
12:30-13:30 – Workshop 2: The future of work and what employers want
13:30-15:45 – Work through the Online Activities Part 2: Skills and development, Career Zone opportunities, Register for the Exeter Award, Your personalised action plan, and Using your skills to get the jobs and experiences you want
15:45-16:30 – Workshop 3: Next steps
Everything will be explained in full during workshop 1, and staff will be available to answer any questions you have throughout the day.

For Business School and Law students, the programme runs 09:30-12:30, with the exception of Law students in Penryn where it runs 14:00-17:00. The day runs It is expected that all students attend the whole of the programme.
