Student Employee Of The Year
The philosophy of the Student Employee Of The Year is to recognise student employees who combine study with part-time or temporary work. We invite nominations from employers and celebrate their career support and their employees dedication in our annual Student Employee of the Year Awards
You can choose to nominate your student in one of the four categories listed below:
- Business Impact - student has improved commerce or commercial viability or business processes
- Leadership - student has demonstrated leadership qualities
- Community - student has improved community engagement or similar
- Innovation - student has successfully brought a new idea to the working environment
We appreciate all nominations:
- You are supporting the development of young careers and all student that are nominated are able to show future employers their ability to work well and focus on employment.
- We will name check you and tag all companies that nominate their student employees, on social media.
- We will name check all the winning student employees and their employers on social media.
- For the winners and runners-up, we will add your company name and links to your website from the University of Exeter website on our Wall of Fame.
- You will receive a free dedicated email for any future jobs.
- You will be invited to SEOTY Award 2021- Virtual Ceremony.
- It is a great way to show current and prospective students which employers are student-friendly and support the development of students at the University of Exeter.
As long as your student employee fulfills the following criteria you can nominate them:
The student you wish to nominate needs to be from the University of Exeter and was a student with us when you employed them.
The student needed to have been employed in a paid position.
There is no set number of working hours or days the student must have worked for you. Summer work, part-time work during term-time, casual work all count!
