Attending the Fair

The Casual Jobs and Internships Fair is in the Forum on Streatham Campus from 11am to 3pm on Wednesday 5th October.

You can drop by at any time between 11am and 3pm to meet the employers and find out more about the positions available.

There are a mixture of employers recruiting for:

- on campus part time roles and vacancies closing soon (University of Exeter Internships, Nurse Plus);

- those who are looking for students to apply for internships over the summer (Helitune, StoneX, Cambrian Group, Delta Capita, University of Exeter Pathways Programme);

- ongoing training and employability development (University of Exeter Career Mentors and Green Consultants);

- local employers seeking students in long term part time roles (Step One, Serve Devon).

There is no need to bring a CV or book a place. We are running a feedback competition too, where all fair attendees have a chance to win a £50 Just Eat voucher.

All current Employers are confirmed, but attendance may vary on the day - Please be aware there is a national train strike planned for the 5th October, which may also affect exhibitors.

Employers and employment opportunities

This fair hosts organisations from multiple sectors all of which are either advertising part time, casual jobs, vacation work or internships. Our Fair is also open to agencies working on behalf of companies. Many part time roles are local to Exeter or Penryn and Summer vacation roles are national and international.

All University of Exeter students are welcome regardless of your year of study, subject or campus. Our fair is also open to graduates keen to find out about the range of opportunities available too.

University of Exeter Professional Pathways	Higher Education	Professional Pathways is a suite of sector specific training courses and paid 35 hour internships that take place in June. The following programmes will be running in 2023: Pathways to Arts, Culture and Heritage Pathways to Charity and Development Pathways to International Trade Pathways to Marketing Pathways to Scientific Laboratories Successful students will undertake four days of training, delivered by industry experts, to provide you with a firm grounding in the relevant sector.
