If you want to find out the answers to these questions and more, whilst at the same time preparing yourself for the world of work, then the 'Future of Work' Spring Programme and Global Hackathon is for you! Running throughout the Spring term and into the start of the Easter vacation, the Future of Work programme allows you to:
- Access and engage in thought-provoking interactive and experiential learning opportunities.
- Hear from industry experts on how the world of work is changing.
- Find out how to prepare for new and emerging digitised recruitment methods used by employers.
- Understand how globalisation is impacting on the way you will be working in your future career.
- Acquire skills that will prepare you for the post-pandemic working environment and give yourself the edge in the job market.
- Contribute to your completion of the Exeter Award.
- Improve your CV, inform effective job applications and optimise your success in recruitment and selection processes.
The programme concludes with an exciting Global Hackathon running during the Summer term in May (dates to be confirmed by end of March). This includes a digital 'Social' warm-up week preceeding the Hackathon week which will include fun and interactive ice-breaker opportunities to help you to get to know your fellow Hackathon team members so that you can navigate the Hackathon week more easily, acquire life-long team-building skills and self-awareness knowledge but also make news friends from other programmes and Exeter-partner Universities!
