Having this award on my CV was a great talking point in interviews, with employers often curious to know more. It was a great opportunity to be able showcase the time and effort put in to working part time whilst completing my degree.
Will Peshall, 3rd year Geography 2015
I have a huge respect for all students who work alongside their degree. Your university years can be very busy, full of degree, socialising with friends all on top of looking after yourself. To those who have a job as well as all this is something to be really proud of. Many congratulations to those who have been shortlisted, it’s so exciting to be rewarded for all the hard work you have put in- well done!
