The Middle East

This section will provide some information about how to find work in the following countries:

United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia

The Middle East is a fast-growing and diverse region, with many graduates deciding to live and work in this area of the world. With English being widely spoken throughout these countries the Middle East is a good option for those who do not speak another language; however the ability to speak, read and write Arabic is a major advantage when looking for work.

As with most countries outside of Europe it is important to research the VISA options that are open to you for your chosen destination, unless you are returning to your home country. Please remember that the Global Employability Consultants are unable to provide VISA advice so it is important that you research your options carefully.

United Arab Emirates-

With more than three-quarters of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) workforce being expatriate, it has become a significant employment destination for people with the correct skills. You may find that opportunities are increasing in tourism and hospitality in the UAE as this country becomes of more interest to businesses and tourists alike. While English is the language of business, being able to speak and write Arabic will give you an advantage when looking for work.
