Employment Sectors: Take a look at our A to Z of employment sectors for more information about the sector, job board links, and more. 

There are a number of useful tools on Handshake including:

  • 'Employers' section - Here you can review company profiles, as well as look at the reviews that have been left by employees. You can also follow employers for job/event updates. 

  • Career Paths - Learn about different jobs and fields to make the next step in your career. 
  • Community pages - By making your profile visible you can network with alumni, students, and employers on Handshake. 
  • Browse and ask questions on the Handshake community Q&A forum 
  • Industry Reports - Information about employment sectors including Charities, Media, Banking and Consulting. Each employment sector includes SWOT analyses and trends, top companies, and links to further information. 

  • Industry Insights- Helping you understand what it's like to work in a particular sector, usually in the form of short videos. Covering sectors from Accounting to Television.
