Earth resources

A degree in an Earth Resources related subject will give you the practical and vocational skills to pursue a career in a variety of related fields, such as mining, exploration, geology or energy resources. It will also give you a range of broader skills in teamwork, problem solving and communication. Many of our graduates work abroad after graduation for example in Europe, South America, Australia and Africa.

Postgraduate Study and Professional Development

For jobs in research and development a degree on its own may not be enough and it is a good idea to investigate relevant masters programmes as well as PhD opportunities at the same time as paid jobs. Some of the research degrees may be sponsored through energy companies.
