Chapel Hot Chocolate and Cookies

First weekend here and not sure what to do? Feeling a little lost? Want to slip away from the busyness of halls for an hour and come somewhere quiet for some sweet treats? Come along to the Chapel to meet some of our Chaplains in a relaxed environment.
All welcome, regardless of faith/tradition. Returners also very warmly welcome!
The evening will end with prayer in the Christian tradition at 8.45pm for those who would like to stay (no obligation or expectation!)

This event will still be going ahead for any student (all years) who need some time apart or someone to talk to.
Are you feeling a bit tired or overwhelmed by the move to University, or the events of the day? Take some time out in a quiet space, to sit on the sofa with a cup of tea or coffee, walk the labyrinth, do a self-guided meditation, and recharge.

Mary Harris Chapel Open Afternoon

Come and see your University Chapel. Enjoy some food and meet our Chaplains. Drop in any time and stay for as little/long as you like. All traditions, faiths and worldviews are very welcome.
Come and Sing with the Chapel Choir

Time: 3.30pm - 4.45pm (and then also to sing at Evensong, 5.00pm - 5.45pm)

Are you interested in singing? Would you like to try singing a service with our Chapel Choir? All students in all years, undergraduate and postgraduate, are welcome to this 'Come and Sing' to prepare some pieces for Evensong at 5pm.
Choral Evensong

A service of choral music, bible readings and prayer.
This Christian service has been sung daily in Cathedrals and Chapels for hundreds of years. Whether you attend Choral Evensong often, or you're trying something new, we think you'll find the service uplifting and inspiring.
Followed by tea and cake in the Old Library, just opposite the Chapel.
Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and URC Welcome
