Mary Harris Memorial Chapel of the Holy Trinity

Diamond Jubilee

A message from Professor Grace Davie

On behalf of the Anglican Chaplaincy at the University of Exeter it is my pleasure to invite fellow alumni and supporters to join us for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel. There will be a number of events taking place over the weekend of 6th - 7th October, not least a chance for choral alumni to sing with the Chapel Choir.

The Right Reverend James Jones, Exeter alumnus and former Bishop of Liverpool, will preside at the Eucharist. Our aim is to bring together former chaplains, alumni and any others with a connection to the Chaplaincy for a joyful celebration of 60 years of Anglican worship and ministry at the University. I do hope you can join us.

Professor Grace Davie
Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Exeter
Chair of the St Luke's College Foundation
