Computer Science at the University of Exeter provides a collaborative and inclusive environment in which students and researchers can advance their knowledge of this dynamic and exciting subject. Our research-led, business-linked programmes explore the breadth of Computer Science and its applications, enabling our students to undertake valuable work experience and establish foundations for future careers.

Our research community includes experts in artificial intelligence, data science, cyber security, machine learning, high performance computing, and evolutionary algorithms. We work closely with other disciplines on a wide range of projects and enjoy a fruitful relationship with a variety of employers, including BBC, NHS Digital, JP Morgan, Met Office, Southwest Water, DSTL and IBM.
