Cornish Studies Until Dusk

Wednesday 25 September 3.00 – 7.00 pm, Heartlands, Pool, TR15 3QY (near Redruth)

This rich and varied event will provide an introduction to Cornish Studies. Dr Garry Tregidga of the University of Exeter will be talking about Cornish symbols of identity, cultural memory and the political history of Cornwall. He will be joined by Matt Blewett, who will be sharing his current research on civic society and the marks left by the landscape on Cornish cultural heritage. There will be the opportunity to learn some Cornish and a delicious complimentary lunch will be provided.

There will be filming at this event. If you would prefer not to be filmed, please let the organisers know.
