University of Exeter Business School to boost SMEs with ‘Help to Grow’ course

Business leaders can help their enterprises to grow and innovate through a government subsided programme delivered by experts from the University of Exeter Business School.

The University of Exeter Business School has been chosen to offer Help to Grow, a highly practical 12-week programme that covers strategies for growth and innovation, leading high-performance teams and digital adoption as well as financial management and responsible business practices.

The course is a 12 week programme designed to fit around existing work commitments with both online and face to face sessions.

Help to Grow is 90% government-funded, making the cost to participants £750.

While the programme is being offered around the country, the University of Exeter Business School will ensure the course content reflects Business School values such as environmental sustainability, responsible leadership and technological innovation.

Delivered by business sustainability experts including Professor Allan Alexander, Dr Ruth Cherrington and Hollie Kirk, the programme offers 10 hours of business one-to-one mentoring and participants will finish the course with a tailored business growth plan, as well as being able to access to peer networking and an extensive alumni programme and network.

The programme starts on the 11 October from the University of Exeter’s Penryn Campus, with a second cohort due to start next year on 24 January in Exeter.
