Yes, attend either alone or with members of your household only between 7am-6pm, drink, eat, or wait for your face to face teaching session.



You won’t need to book but you will need to let us know you are using the space by digitally logging your location when you arrive and completing some details for NHS test and trace purposes.
You must wear a face covering in all marquees across our campuses.


The Sports Park, St Luke’s Sports Centre, Duckes Meadow and Topsham Sports Ground will all close for general use during lockdown. Please do not attempt to gain access to any outdoor pitches or playing fields during this time. You can join our free online classes here.


The Russell Seal Fitness Centre

Yes, all facilities will be available on a pre-booking basis. There are limits on class numbers and numbers in the gym.


All gym sessions and fitness classes must be pre-booked via the online system. Please use this link to book your slot.

To help plan your visits to the gym, students and staff can use the iExeter App which contains a live feed of how many people are currently in the Russell Seal Fitness Centre or St Luke's Sports Centre. In the App, click on Sport > Live gym availability.
We hope to introduce walk-in bookings once it is safe to do so.

St Luke’s Sports Centre

A booking system is in operation for all activities within the centre. Please use this link to book your slot.

Due to challenges around changing facilities and flow around the building, swimming pool users are asked to come ‘beach ready’ and for morning lane swimming, customers will only be able to use the changing rooms on leaving the pool. For other users of the building there is only access to toilet facilities.

The Forum

Please wear a face covering inside all campus buildings, unless you are exempt. Also use the hand sanitisers available and follow any instructions in buildings, such as one way systems and distance markers.

Multifaith Chaplaincy

This support is available during office hours in term time, and outside these hours whenever possible, if needed.

Please note that the Muslim Prayer Rooms on Streatham Campus have moved, and there are new protocols in place for these rooms at both Streatham Campus and St Luke's Campus.

Residence Life Team

The team are holding physical drop ins in selected halls regularly. The schedule for this can be found on the Residence Life website, under the ‘Mentors’ section at the bottom. They are also holding regular zoom calls for students in halls.

Welfare Advisors

Welfare Advisors are available in your College to talk to you in a confidential and non-judgemental space about any issue you may need support with. Advisors can offer telephone, skype and face to face appointments.

Digital Support


The Digital Hub in the Forum is a space where students can discover how to use and master the digital tools that support study and research at the University. There is a choice to either visit the Digital Hub Online or in person.

There’s lots to see and learn. Look out for live and pre-recorded guidance that will help you to navigate Office 365, manage your documents on OneDrive or become an expert using Teams or Zoom. The Digital Hub in the Forum offers a socially distanced space to ask questions and receive training.
