Advertising

We can provide advice and practical help on print and online advertising for studentships and programmes.

Studentships

The Marketing Office organises the annual studentships campaign on behalf of the University. The campaign to promote over 100 PhD studentships involves national print advertising as well as extensive online advertising through a number of specialist websites and a Google ads campaign.

College Marketing Managers also provide help to Colleges and their consitituent subjects throughout the year to advertise specific studentships, eg, in specialist publications, online networks or appropriate websites.

Programme advertising

The Marketing Office promotes the University's postgraduate programmes through a select number of course listings websites such as Findamasters. In addition, College Marketing Managers provide guidance and practical help in advertising programmes in specialist media to ensure targeted publicity which is cost effective.

The University is contacted regularly by advertising sales staff who claim to offer great deals for advertising in their publications or websites. Prices are usually expensive and the type of the advertising offered is often untargeted and inappropriate. If you are contacted, please get in touch with your College Head of Communications and Marketing for advice.
