Overview

Role

My role is focused on supporting research and education in the areas of Defence, Security and Conflict (DSC). 

I sit within the Innovation, Impact and Business (IIB) Directorate and am responsible for developing partnerships, collaborative research, industrial PhD studentships, REF impact case studies and income generation.  I work across disciplines supporting research centres such as the Strategy and Security Institute and manage the University's participation in various DSC related frameworks.  I am also the relationship manager for Dstl.   

Profile

I have worked for the University in various business-facing roles on projects that drive entrepreneurialism, regional economic growth and innovation.  Prior to this work, I worked for Blackwell Publishing, marketing professional and scientific journals and have a degree in Consumer Science and Technology.
