Currently the Acting Director of the Charles Causley Trust in Launceston, Cornwall and formerly the Director of the Campaign for Learning through Museums and Galleries, the CEO of the SW Federation of Museums and Art Galleries and the Business Development Lead for Heritage MK Nicola has worked in the heritage sector for 34 years.
For 24 of those she has run her own consultancy, Tempus Fugit, working with national, regional and individual organisations such as The National Trust, English Heritage, The National Archives, the Departments for Culture, Media & Sport, Education and Health, the Home Office, the Big Lottery Fund, the Arts Council, the Museums Association, the Association of Independent Museums and NESTA.
With degrees in Teaching and Archaeology and a Masters in Heritage Management her specialisms include advocacy and knowledge exchange, strategic partnership and business development, fundraising, integrated communications and professional development.
She was until recently a Trustee at the Bishop's Palace Trust, in Wells and the South West Heritage Trust - both in Somerset.
