The Universities Occupational Health team are here to support all staff with concerns surrounding health both physical and mental, stress and those with a disability. You can either self refer to the occupational health team or your manager may refer you if they are concerned about your health. Full details of the wide range of support offered by the Occupational Health team can be found on their website.

Social and Special interest groups
Staff Life offers a range of regular weekly/monthly groups focused around specific interests. These are open to PGRs whether you are doing teaching work at the university or not. Some are run by a professional/experienced coach, teacher or group leader. Others are staff/ PGR organised social groups. Groups range from football and frisbee to crafts, singing and mindful meditation. Obviously, due to the many of our usual groups can’t currently meet face to face although you can still join in with those which run online. Many are free and those which aren’t, you can pay the instructor directly. Look out for communications about new groups or events in the weekly bulletin and PGR newsletter.
