What time is breakfast served?
If you are staying on a bed and breakfast basis, breakfast is served from 07.30 – 09.00 unless other specific arrangements have been made. If you are staying on a room only basis, visit the University cafes and shops webpages for details of where to eat on campus.
What time is check in?
Check in is from 15.00, unless alternative arrangements have been made.
What time is check out?
Delegates are requested to vacate their rooms by 10.00 and return their keys to reception.
What is the latest time visitors can arrive?
Accommodation receptions are staffed until 23.00, after which time you will need to ring our 24 hour security team on 01392 722222, who will check you in.
What times are the reception areas open from/to?
Within the residences the reception areas are open from 07.30 – 23.00.
What is the cancellation policy?

Is there internet access?
Free wifi is available in your accommodation and on other locations on campus. Please contact your accommodation reception for details of how to get online in your accommodation. To connect elsewhere on campus, follow the Visitor Wifi Guidelines.
What facilities are there in the bedrooms?
All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. En-suite rooms also have a small fridge. A safe is available in some accommodation.
Hairdryers, alarm clocks, adapters and Ethernet cables are not provided in the room, however these items are available from reception. A television is not provided in the bedroom, although there are televisions available in most lounge areas.
Are there laundry facilities?
Yes, all areas have access to laundry facilities. Ask at your accommodation reception for details.
To help us support the environment, we ask that guests only request fresh towels when needed, by placing used towels in the floor of the shower room.
Do visitors have access to leisure facilities?
Visitors to campus are encouraged to use our recently refurbished Sports park. Those staying overnight can take advantage of free use of the 200 station Russell Seal Fitness Centre. Take a look at the Sports Park website or call them direct on 01392 724452, or enquire at your accommodation reception.
Is there an emergency number?
In the event of an emergency please telephone our 24 hour security team on 01392 722222. Fire safety information is located on the back of the door in your bedroom.

Is smoking permitted?
No – All of our buildings are non-smoking.
Can I send packages to the venue prior to arriving?
Please contact the Event Exeter team (0300 555 0214) for correct address details, which will depend on which area you are using.
Is car parking free or do you have to pay?
Car parking is free for residential guests and you will be given a parking permit when you check in. For non-residential visitors there are pay and display machines located around the University campus. For further details take a look at the University car parking web pages.
How do I travel to the campus by public transport?
Exeter has a mainline train station (St David’s), International airport and local buses which run regularly onto the campus. Take a look at the Find Us pages for more details.
Is there a number for a local taxi firm?
Capital Taxis 01392 433433 (taxi rank located at St. David’s train station) and Apple Taxis 01392 666666 are both local to the campus.
