Learn how to forage for wild food

Event details

Learn how to forage safely and connect with the power of wild plants. Join us on a foraging and wild food walk in the Lower Hoopern Valley (next to Prince of Wales Road), led by professional forager Myrtle Cooper. Learn how to correctly identify wild edible plants and trees, their folklore history and modern day uses and about sustainable and responsible foraging.

We are running two 1.5 hour walks on 9 October. 11:00am walk is fully accessible, 13:30 walk involves steep slopes and rough ground. Please sign up via EventBrite, as spaces are limited.
