2025 Exe-X Networking Plus - Drinks and Dissertation Chat

One thing most of us have in common as graduates is that we had to write a dissertation, indeed it was probably the lynchpin of our degrees.  It may be many years since you even thought about your dissertation, but this is an evening to brush it off and remember why you chose this particular subject to write several thousand words about.  A chance to share your memories good or bad!!  

Did you enjoy the research and the writing up – did you follow up in later research in further study or was it just a means to an end to getting a qualification?  

Come to the Citygate pub on the Iron Bridge on Tuesday 4th February from 6 – 8 pm, no need to reserve a place, just turn up, buy a drink (soft drinks, tea, coffee, and nibbles also available) and have a chat in the snug, just beyond the bar.  

The Citygate is a short walk from Exeter Central station and there is some free parking (after 6pm) on St David’s Hill between the pub and the campus.
We would like to emphasise that if you would rather just come along and listen, participation in the discussion is entirely optional.
